Israel was not warned about possible terror attacks in London before a series of blasts ripped through the city, There is still a puzzle: Israel was holding an economic conference in a hotel over the London subway stop where one of the blasts occurred. Israeli Finance Minister Benjamin Netanyahu (search) was supposed to attend the conference, but "after the first explosion our finance minister received a request not to go anywhere," Shalom said. Everyone else was not told that the first incident was an explosion, but that it was a power fluxuation in the subway. It seems the Israeli embassy still had more information and more accurate sources than the rest of the country. TP
