I have always had a problem with this issue, also.

I have several buddies that are nuts about fly fishing, and they beg me to come join them....but that is exactly what I tell them, I'm not interested in sticking a hook into an animal for fun and then just letting it go to be caught again.

I'd rather get a snorkel or scuba gear and slip in to go watch them..

to each, their own.
