Hi, Pat--

We create our own security risks with the incredible overreaction to the attacks on the World Trade Center. The chimp and his merry band have this nation worked up into an insane frenzy solely for their own political gain: trust, don't question, and support the troops. I couldn't in my wildest dreams have imagined a US presidential administration cynically manipulating the citizenry to such a degree as has been done by the chimp and his merry band.

The growth of terrorism as a result of the chimp administration's foolish invasion of Iraq has not led to any serious added security here on the mainland. The argument now is that it is better to fight them over there. How ludicrous! The logic of these morons should challenge a grade-schooler.

The security risks now for big events in the US and Britain are more challenging than ever. Frankly, I was surprised there wasn't some sort of terrorist attack at the Olympics last August in Greece. Giving these Islamic radicals the kind of attention we have given them has simply played right into their hands. I'm not saying ignoring them would have been the answer. But concentrating on US domestic security would have been much more meritorious.

Seriously, too, couldn't the efforts in Afghanistan back in late 2001 have more efficient and more complete? I think the job there could have been successful with fewer men and resources operating more covertly and for a more protracted period of time.
