"It is hard to understand the market reaction to the report by Bob M and the the CDY press release."

Well, that's just the sorry state of the whole market segment at this time. I think too many people are far too focused on the real estate market to notice that the world is in a commodities bull, particularly in regards to raw materials prices. Then, many who do notice don't want to believe it, thinking the China factor doesn't have legs.

On that subject, it's important for people to understand that this is the first ever commodities boom since soon after the Industrial Revolution began that the markets are not being propelled higher by economic activity in the United States. More than just a commodities boom, this is a sign that the balance of economic power in the world is shifting. Those who understand this fact will prosper going forward. Those who don't will be lost.

In the meantime, I very strongly believe that when the real estate market turns, the mining sector will be the next "big thing." That is, of course, barring am industry shaking even (ala Voisey's Bay) like comes about once a decade. We are due for one of those about now, you know. Maybe San Fernando if it ever gets drilled?
