I do a time series analysis on the NDX index (and some stocks etc.). Something I invented. It produces an indicator that determines turning points. I simulate out a few days using a random walk model and see when the indicator is triggered. At the moment on the NDX any large down movement is unlikely - the values of the indicator for a bottom show up for even small moves down. However, on the ASX, large down movements are possible. And that is what we saw in the last couple of days... This only says what is possible, not what will happen.
