Zarqawi went to Iraq for medical attention, eh? Yes, this is the story Cheney gave us before the invasion to justify invading to try and prove a Saddam - AL Qaida link. Cheney said Zaqawi's leg was amputated in Baghdad and that only Saddam could have approved his being there. Cut to - last year when Zarqawi is announced as the new leader of the enemy resistence in Iraq. The White House builds him up as a boogey man, and we see him cutting off one guy's head, with two good legs, then hear he out-raced our troops by diving out his car and running away, leaving his latop behind. So what happened to his amputated leg and need for medical care in Baghdad? All of a sudden he's The Flash. Hospital workers at the Baghdad hospital deny ever seeing or hearing about Zarqawi ever being there.
