I guess that either a draft or a change in policy is coming. Since a draft will destroy the party in power unless something now unknown occurs, i will place my bet on the latter. That does not make me automatically happy by the way because fp shouldnt become a popularity contest. You will blame MSM and "reaganite liberals" like me along with the wild eyed left. I will blame poicy that didnt understand the realities in iraq, the homefront and in our volunteer army, particularly the reserves.
But regardless of what we see as the reasons, we appear to agree on the outcome of reduced forces in iraq and we both probably think its a bad idea at this time. So i will go back to the timetable which i just heard on Fox that about 40% of iraqi legislators want as well. Mike
