Because that would amount to overkill... US and Israeli insiders are well aware that there's no need to shanghai the US into attacking Iran. Contingency plans thereof have been wargamed ever since the hostage crisis of November 4, 1979. Pentagon freaks such as Gen Boykin are raring to settle score with the Iranian mullocracy. The US, however, can't go it alone... US and Israeli warmongers know that it's gonna be a mess even worse than Iraq if Britain doesn't join. The risks against US interests will rise as a result of poor intelligence sharing, etc., etc.

Hence the current, reckless, strategy of "toughening" Britain or, in other words, Israelizing British public opinion. The impending war against Iran must be sold as a just, retributive crusade against a terrorist Iranian regime that supports terrorists in the UK....
