The United States is a vast country. It impossible to implement adequate protection at each and every site. For that reason INTELLIGENCE is so important to us. Yet, the likes of Ted Kennedy would tie our hands to attempt to prevent us from securing adequate intelligence. A pox on his house, he and his ilk will be the guilty parties when our attack comes. jdn

The iraq war was portrayed as central to the WOT when it wasnt really but now it is and we are like the Boy who cried wolf. Folks now say Spain cut and run but the brits have a stiff upper lip. But remember Chamberlin--what happened to the brit stiff upper lip pre-Churchill? It will take a lot more than a subway bombing to get the brits to understand and accept what iraq has become. Like our dems they will be going back to the origins of the war and not dealing with the changed reality. mike
