Wouldn't it be grand if some offended country, religious sect or tribe could direct their angst (or revenge) at an immediately responsible 'XYZ Corp' as opposed to the present state of affairs where civilians on trains and buses and in office buildings pay the price for what their governments do? And wouldn't 'XYZ Corp' - either expecting such, or after one or two such episodes - have trouble finding employees, and/or work hard not to step on toes, as such?

I don't think a group like Al Qaida would be likely to stop attacking civilians on trains, planes, and busses, if the American and British armies disbanded and outsourced all military activities to "XYZ corp".

Sure, if it were indeed XYZ Corp itself that was supporting one side or another, for their own profit, with no relation to US government.

However, if we are talking about US government outsourcing its own foreign operations to XYZ Corp, I doubt if American citizens would be any safer. I'd rather not assume the natives are all dumb. A safer assumption will be that they will know that the US government is the will behind XYZ Corp.
