"Al-Qaradawi " Good example of how someone can become a religious scholar and be corrupt in their personal character. This dork gets a lot of press because he is a maniac who is somehow able to engender a following and media attention, not because his rhetoric is sound. Pedophile priests in America are another good example of this paradox. It would be nice if education and sound moral doctrine would correlate to good character; doesn't seem to be the case.
