I'm re-reading the Stratfor North Korea piece and it really is crap. Maybe this a way to get Schumer and friends to shut up - some progress with N. Korea comes out in the press, hints are dropped of some 'deal', and Schumer gets told to drop his bill in the 'national interest'. Later, he can be told to bring back the bill, for the next song and dance. That's probably easier than explaining the facts of life to a known bonehead. ******* I beleive that later this fall Japan will be starting up a nuclear reprocessing plant with the potential to recover LOTS of plutonium... Of course, much of this will have high levels of Pu 240, making it more difficult to use as weapons.
