VVV, I don't believe that market players were influenced by any such lofty considerations. They just followed their trading skills and instincts, and made their moves. That said, I agree that such events as yesterday should jolt the public opinion in Muslim countries, and hopefully, extremists will become isolated and contained. If they don't get their extremists under control, then today's terrorists will eventually become their kings and dictators. Committed professional revolutionaries should never be underestimated.
