OK There are far too many who want to paint all of those 1.4 billion with one paint brush that says "Islamic terrorist". That is quick, easy, and gives them a simple target. They don't have to consider all the differences you point out. They don't have to consider that a good part of the problem is caused by the unquestioning tilt of the US gov't in Israel's favor in any dispute between them and the Palestinians.

If you look at numerous threads on SI, you've already seen numerous people that I refer to. THEY must not get their way. I do not even want to imagine an actual war on the scale required. The wars we have seen to date will look like bar fights in comparison.

I don't want uninformed dopes going off half cocked to stand on street corners making proclamations.
They're going to anyway where free speech exists. They have to be countered. Britain is one of the countries with a long tradition of free speech; the British Muslim Association did a rather good job in countering hotheads who would stir up more trouble.

Did you know that on the same day, the only Islamic Ambassador in Iraq was murdered.
Yes. That was widely publicized, I believe. The nutcases don't really seem to care WHO they kill. But if the moderates stand their ground and report what they know, the nuts will soon be out of business.
