He may have won the election, with the help of cheating, smearing and dirty tricks, but he has failed We The People on almost every level. He has lied to us, cheated us (unless we're very rich), misled us into a very poorly planned war/quagmire, gave away our environment, let his energy crook buddies gouge us, let his administration and rightwing GOP friends engage in massive corruption. Even on terrorism, he let Osama off scott free. So where are the accomplishments? I see none. After 5 long years. You can see by the polls that Bush and the rightwing are headed into the toilet of history. Bush-Cheney-Rove-Delay may all be impeached or imprisoned within 18 months. They are the Texas political mafia, along with the oil companies, Enron, Koch Oil and Halliburton. We can never trust these people and special interests again. Whoever leads us next must regulate them as much as possible. Gougers should be imprisoned. So what does all this mean for Kerry? That he was right on all the issues and he was cheated. I maintain Hillary will never be the nominee, so who else is there? Mark Warner, John Kerry, Joe Biden. All good men. I also like Chuck Hagel on the GOP side. If the GOP nominates a rightwinger they are dead ducks. Next time the rightwing wants to smear a war hero, or make fun of his policies which are far smarter than the attacker's, they'd better remember, there is a backlash and a stiff price to pay. People will remember. Live by the sword, die by the sword. Especially with the Schiavo case and Iraq lies, the rightwing has no morality credibility left. They have, in fact, smeared themselves most of all.
