Your link argues that not all of them met the military legal definition of murder. Of course, I was not arguing that point. I was saying they were tortured, and they all were. You should stop cutting & pasting other people's irrelevant arguments and use your own brain. Or perhaps not.

And, of course, this number is dramatically understated for three reasons:

1. Gitmo, etc. are very secretive, so we only know about the torture that has leaked out. Human rights groups have not had much access, for the obvious reason that they would find abuses.

2. There is also a network of unofficial prisons for which there is no accountability. For example, the prison ships:

3. Also, we are outsourcing torture. Please tell me how many people have died while being tortured for us by our allies.
