Becky: Just because one corporation owns a majority of the stock of another, doesn't mean that the stock price of each one should go up or down in tandem.

A company that owns 80% or more of another will file "consolidated" tax returns with the subsidiary company, but not if it owns less than 80%.

I really don't understand your question.<g>
