Yes we did ionesco,

And I am very glad to hear you did too. It is kind of the start of the summer season there, (the lake has warmed up enough to swim in <g>) so we usually did something on the 4th.

We had to come home a day early because Mary wanted to attend a fancy wedding reception for her friend so we will see "the other side of life" this evening. I really do not feel like going. Oh, it will be alright, I am just not in the mood right now. I am really not in the mood to go anywhere for awhile, not even to SA or Australia, <g>, but I will get over that pretty soon, I always do. at least I hope I do. :)

I would rather be going out to the creek and maybe seeing elk, deer or bear again. There will not even be any "wildlife" at this party either, <g>. I like wildlife at my parties too.

Anyway, we had a good road trip on the way, staying overnight in places like Jordan Valley and Pendleton OR. mingling with the locals and hearing their stories. They have good stories. Having breakfast in Rome, Rome, OR that is, and hearing the locals talk about the artifacts they have seen or a big gold nugget a friend found. BTW, they are very protective of the old sites and do not like to see them robbed. Good for them.

Well I rambled on long enough,

Take care,

m
