We need to get off Arab oil ASAP. Which also means getting rid of Bush-Cheney-Delay as soon as possible, even through impechment. Those three most of all have made it impossible to get any progressive energy policies through congress and the senate. They are all big pimps for big oil and pollutors.

I'm trying. Best way is to start sending out End of Suburbia. Everybody I have shown it to gets shocked into doing something. I've got to get some more copies burned. It's friends telling friends to tell friends, and then it's doing something about it. Haven't got a clue about what to do for the cities, tho. The more prepared other communities are, the easier it will be for us. Amory Lovins...wow, now there's The Man. Communal biodiesel plant? I'll pass that one on. Garberville has 2 acres of communal biofuel garden; don't know what they do about production. And this apparently just spontaneously evolved, 'cuz I'm told the movement hasn't started up there yet.
