Sorry. The barrel part was tongue in cheek. (Or would that be hook in cheek?) I'm an avid fly fisherman who ties his own and tries his best to not to harm them with irresponsible technique. (I even build my own fly rods. All part of the art.) I have great respect for the fish, the stream, and the ecosystem living there. In fact I'm in awe of it all. If there was a single ill spirit in me while doing it, it would be considered harassment. I don't think I'm doing that. In fact I think the time spent waist high in a running stream while soaking up all that surrounds a person, makes it impossible to have nothing but respect for everything living there, epsecially the trout. I should not have written my reply to you in such a way. Sorry about that. Rereading it, it came off much more rude and insensitive than I intended. -Clapper davesrods.com
