>> Nice try, but there are a million ways to celebrate God. <<

then why did the Lord say "narrow is the way" and there will be few that find life?

Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. (Matthew 7:13-14)

not all men have faith.

Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you: And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith. (1 Thessalonians 3:1-2)

the kingdom is going to be given to a "little flock".

Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom. (Luke 12:32)

many will hear the words of our Lord, "I never knew you, depart from me".

Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. (Matthew 7:22-23)

>> Your vision of God is steered by some mysterious fixation with the condemnation of other people <<

i'm sure they said the same thing about St. John the Forerunner, of whom Christ said:

"For I say unto you, Among those that are born of women there is not a greater prophet than John the Baptist" (Luke 7:28)

now how did St. John the greatest among those born of women start off his preaching?

Then said he to the multitude that came forth to be baptized of him, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come? (Luke 3:7)

are you going to condemn St. John the Baptist the way you condemn me?

>> You use a pretty wide brush to condemn the Catholics as heretics, the Protestants as heretics, the Jews as non believers and the Muslims as non believers. <<

this is precisely what the Church teaches. take it up with the Church, not with me. do understand however the Church is:

"the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth." (1 Timothy 3:15)

so it is futile to argue with the Church which is the pillar and ground of truth.

>> Didn't St. Cyprian represent a tolerant attitude towards the apostates? Wasn't he the one that said they should be let back into the Church, albeit with some strict guidelines. <<

as with the blessed St. Cyprian, the true Church welcomes all who are willing to turn from their error and repent of their deeds. if the romans or the protestants choose to depart from their heresy, they will be welcomed into the Church.

>> The Muslim extremists are saying the same thing you are saying with a different spin <<

as the devil seeks to imitate God, it's only natural that the children of the devil will do the deeds of their father and imitate the children of the kingdom. islam and judaism copy Christianity in many ways, that's how they try to snatch people away from the Holy Church of God, by imitation.

>> ...why not come up with a better way of delivering the message of God? <<

the method was laid down in the gospels and in the book of acts. you obviously take umbrage not with me, but with Christ and his holy apostles.

>> As soon as you pull out the Hell card, your words fall on deaf ears <<

i think it would behove you to read seven chapters in the book of acts. read acts chapter 2,3,4,5,7,10, and 13. notice how every time the apostles gave a sermon, they never fail to mention how the jews slew Christ.

you simply do not know what you are talking about. if you knew the Lord Jesus Christ you would not say the foolish things you do. if Jesus Christ was such a meek preacher then why did the jews clamor to slay him? if Paul and Barnabas were such meek preachers, why did the jews expel them from their coasts, and why does St. Paul tell us:

Of the Jews five times received I forty stripes save one. Thrice was I beaten with rods, once was I stoned, thrice I suffered shipwreck, a night and a day I have been in the deep; (2 Corinthians 11:24-25)

obviously the bold preaching of the gospel will bring on persecution. if you are not suffering persecution, you are not living godly in Christ.

Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. (2 Timothy 3:12)
