Beware the leaven... grace-for-today.com Interesting radio address. The real question that begs to be asked is why God would have incarnate himself on Earth to destroy the Jews just so that the Church of Christ (God) could replace the self righteous piety of the Pharisees. Maybe the disciples wanted to protect their own self interests against the Jews they challenged. Maybe that is why they blamed the death of Christ on the Jews rather than the Roman governor that sentenced him to death. It certainly explains why the Jews never bothered to pick up on the New Testament and embrace the condemnations of their people by the apostles.
