But will those generators survive a cat 5 hurricane and/or are they usable for 3 or more weeks when the main power grid is down from a Cat 5?

The generator sets in question, when used as portable generators would just fit in a 44' trailer. With a 13'6" high trailer we had to cut a hole in the roof for the radiators filler cap. When their anchord to concrete footings they will not blow away, trust me on that. OTOH maybe with a Cat-100. Lastly, they are not dependent on the public power grid.
Actually these size generators create their own huricane, you need to take your hard hat off. I had to retrieve mine, it was stuck to the fans protective metal grid. an 8' dia fan can make a lot of wind!
