You're the clueless one... Cheney still has options in HAL. At the very least, the plethora of no-bid giveaways to a sh*t company like HAL, gives a strong appearance of conflict of interest. At the very least, Cheney is doing his buddies and associates at HAL A VERY BIG FAVOR. When Big Dick Cheney exits office, he'll get his reward. It's called a deferred reward. I know you'll say that Cheney didn't have influence in the contract award process, but we all know that's a crock. Surely even a half-baked lawyer like yourself even could understand these concepts.

Cheney doesn't care if Halliburton makes 10 billion dollars. Once he took the VP job, he ceased caring about Halliburton altogether. And Howard Dean doesn't care who's president anymore now that he's taken a new job.

If HAL went into bankruptcy they would not be able to pay cheney his deferred over-compensation. So by participating in a criminal conspiracy to falsify intelligence data to mislead Congress into authorizing an illegal invasion of Iraq that he created enormous business rewards for HAL that drove the profits and the stock of the company up and assured cheney would get all of his deferred over-compensation. That's an illegal conflict of interest. Impeach bush and cheney now!!!
