Bush-Cheney lied to us about Saddam - Al Qaida links. In fact there is zero credible evidence of any operational links between Saddam and Al Qaida. The Zarqawi leg amputation story has been debunked by the fact that Bushies now claim Zarqawi is running around like The Flash evading capture and cutting off heads. Similar lies were told, especially by Chene, about Saddam being months away from acquiring a nuclear bomb and having vast stockpiles of chemical and biological weaponry. Bush said we'd already found them and Rumsfield said we know exactly where they are. Uranium from Niger, aluminum tubes, mobile labs, all horse-pucky and they knew it. cnn.com
