Difference is that the Japanese kamikaze warriors were courageous in that they targeted U.S. soldiers and ships. The Islamic jihadis are cowards in that they run from the soldiers but target civilians, women, children, and elderly. They also use civilians as human shields. I wonder if Islam will ever recover from the bad name these cowards have given it? If it does, it will take centuries for people to forget. But my guess is a century from now, the Muslims in the ME will still be in the same situation, blaming everyone else for their problems and still giving Islam a bad name.
