All these replies about fishing and releasing a few trout. Amazing how we find concern over this as thousands perish from lack of food, bombs, murder, rape, disorders of magnitude that I can only imagine. As Africa becomes a wasteland of death from AIDS we debate sentient status of trout. Fifteen yards penalty for clipping. We are discussing trout fishing. If you want to discuss other ills, I am game. The fact that there are other problems in the world does not make mangling or harassing a fish an acceptable behavior (some people even say that it is admirable to release fish and let it die a slow death - go figure).
