I guess you haven't noticed that you are using standards that you say do not exist to absolutely judge societal practices from thousands of years ago. Dumb ass! The anachronistic assumptions are all yours. Your out of context quotes from the jerks at evilbible did not mention rape except to provide a remedy that would not destroy the woman. Marriage Even if it was to a rapist was an honorable (and perhaps the only) solution for the woman in such a situation, in that society. You would no doubt rather she become a prostitute (her only other option) so that you could help her out by hiring her. Laws that prescribe penalties against rape; are only in your twisted thinking, made out to be an endorsement of such. The nuance of description vs prescription is obviously too difficult for you to grasp when you are in such an emotional state. Don't be mad at God just because you are such a loser. As for the specific passage you mention Numbers 31: I see no mention at all of rape. If they took the young woman, they married them. The idea that marriage in those days was a romantic wooing and courting exists only in your mind. The vast majority were arranged. There is killing but that is what one might expect in a war situation. There was honor among-st the men of that time. They did not brag about going to Vegas to "sleep with unmarried Woman" like you do in your smug moral superiority. Oh we all wish we could be morally superior to Jesus like you.
