I agree, but the rulers aren't doing enough to clamp down on terror today. If we push their backs closer to the wall, they will come to realize that they either clamp down decisively on terror or they will be squeezed by the Islamic radicals from one side and Westerners from the other until they no longer exists. That kind of perspective is the one they need to actually get some work done.

Given your theory, how come we can't stop gang activity in our cities. Each year, gangs cost billions of dollars in vandalism damage, burglary, death and police activity. And after spending billions to curtail them, they are as strong as ever. Your pronouncements sound wonderful but have you ever tried implementing any of them?

The are not backed up to a wall, they are on the edge of a cliff.

The bombers in London are likely homegrown. Do you think Tony Blair hasn't been pushed around enough? Is that the problem?
