Lots of times you will see shreds of truck tires on the freeway, some quite large. Hitting them would be like hitting a pile of bricks, so the best procedure is: DON'T.

We were in the mountains in NC when a truck lost it loads of pipes...we were all stuck there for hours. We got to know our fellow travelers... We were at the beach and evacuated. The whole family was there for the Fourth and the Blue Angel Homecoming when this monster started towards us. After Ivan, no one was taking any chances..so we all left. It sounds as though we have to start repairs on our condo once again.. Get ready...I'm sure the rain is heading your way.
