The "Group of 14" senators is not all Democrats, is it? If the Repubs were united behind Bush, then it would not be necessary for some of the Repub Senators to talk with the Dems, would it?

Cyber, you have expressed what you would hope with the Repubs. But "the politics of it" is that the Repub hopefuls for President 2008, McCain and Frist, will duke it out with Hillary standing on the sidelines and watching the show along with the rest of the nation. IMO.
