"If AMD was to post earnings of $.27 a share in the weakest quarter of the year the stock would go to at least $30+ a share with positive guidence...I wouldn't mind letting him win the contest if so...;>)"

Agreed. Heck, if AMD comes in at $825M in CPG revenues or better, a fairly rapid test of the recent high of $24.90 shouldn't surprise too many.

Anything over $825M pretty much guarantees a $1B Q4. In fact, with $25M or better CPG revenues, the odds for a $1B Q3 rise dramatically. Hence, with such rapidly improving outlook comes a rapidly improving share price.

Wondering if AMD breaks $19 tomorrow and $20 pre-earnings.

Can't help thinking Thurs and Fri are 15M share plus days as AMD delivers Wall St. the hint of CPG revenue growth that Wall St. has been waiting for before climbing over one another to take a position in one of the most undervalued tech stocks in the marketplace.

Exciting week shaping up for AMD.
