The rightwing smear brigade is totally discredited. Rove is the main mastermind in the smear campaigns starting with Clinton. Funded by such creepy companies as Koch Oil. He learned sleazy dirty tricks from Lee Atwater who also schooled GW. Atwater made a deathbed confession in tears begging forgiveness for all the lives he'd dishonesty damaged. Now it's Rove's turn. A prison conversion like Charles Colson, who smeared Kerry in 1971 and later broke down and begged forgiveness, apologizing to Kerry.
