job creation has underperformed prior recoveries, Jobs in austin are generally construction (of the new toll roads) and are open only to experienced management and illegal aliens. There is demand for heath care para-professionals. Tech sector jobs used to fill two pages of the sunday paper, now they fill about 4 inches in one column. The entire employment section of the sunday paper now tops out at 4 pages. There is always an ad to join the army. Same here. Everything stinks. That's why Bush gets a low rating in the polls for the economy. MM must be in the only perfect 'economic' storm in the country. Meanwhile, the ave. price of gas hit $2.55 in San Diego...the high for the year. ted
