Well while I suppose you slaughter your cow and dress it for its beef the rather pain free trout feels nothing involving pain with or without a barbed hook. Cattle feel pain quite a bit, specially when they are mistreated.

I'm with you manalagi, What's the point of pulling a innocent fish out of the water.. Just for fun of it....If you are not going to eat it.. I understand that, for survival and all.. BUT I don't understand yanking them out just for a person's sadistic enjoyment.. NEVER.. I will never 'toy' with another life just for the FUN of it.. I kinda of think of GWB doing that now.. For he doesn't CARE and I am SURE he enjoys it.. :(.. And I will NEVER align, even closely, with that type of thinking.. c
