My greater point was that the best schools in the nation tend to be clustered in "liberal" areas. I don't think that is a coincidence. As to your statement that teachers get better as pay increases that is obviously false. But it is also true that the schools that pay the most can hire the best teachers.

LOL I don't know why you attempt serious dialogue with that idiot. A simple example of liberal areas and their school systems are Philadelphia, New York, LA........Then there are so many others. He is a foolish man that makes it up as he goes along. What about DC? LOL Chicago? They all stink to no end.

The idea is not to pay poor teachers more, but to offer enough to attract good ones. Teachers can hardly make ends meet these days, so those with the attributes we need are seeking work elsewhere, or just enduring.

Show me a teacher that would claim to do a better job if paid more and I'll show you one that should be fired.
