Bush is trying hard to use his only remaining popular issue (terrorism) as a bulwark against the slippery slide toward impeachment. On all other issues Bush has less than 50% support. Including on Iraq. Bush's speech today was full of all kinds of exaggerations and bogus claims. He made a big deal out of claiming to have captured "Osama's righthand man" Lippi. Indeed, it's been revealed Lippi was no more than a flunkie gofer. And Lippi cost us a squadron of F-16 jets. Bush also didn't answer - where are Osama, Zawahiri, Zarqawi and Omar? The big four.
