While the anti-American community is distracted by its desperate effort to fabricate a "Rove scandal" out of whole cloth, their anti-American Senators continue to make fools of themselves...

< Eventually, in 1998, Luskin came to a settlement with the government in which he agreed to cough up $245,000 of the money he'd gotten from Saccoccia. >

That'll teach Rove's scumbag lawyer to behave. When you want to punish a right wing defender severely, you make him give back SOME of the illegal fees. Maybe we should start treating bank robbers the same way. If caught, make them give back SOME of the money they stole.

Do you think our diligent media will come up with the story of Rove's sleazebag lawyer? Yeah, right.

Del

">>"So we've got Karl Rove's latest story, as recounted by his lawyer, Robert Luskin.

Rove did spill the beans about Plame in an effort to discredit Joe Wilson. Only he didn't mention the name 'Valerie Plame'. He only spilled the beans about 'Joe Wilson's wife'.

I'm no lawyer. But I'd hate to go into court with my case resting on that distinction.

And remember, the president has certainly known all of this from the beginning.

Can you believe this???...suggesting that the president has certainly known all of this time from the beginning about Rove's involvement in leaking Plame's identity.

Why, this just cannot possibly be true. I saw Bush telling us on September 03, (that is right, September 03) he was going to get to the bottom of this immediately and no way would anyone from his staff get away with anything. Then I think he rushed right back into the Oval Office and resumed his search under the furniture for the WMDs.
