I think it completely relevant to your question to point out that we give Egypt $3B a year. Hell, we give Africa billions more. Everyone gets a hand out from the U.S. Israel is no different. I say we cut them all off and let them sink or swim on their own. I'm tired of wiping everyone's damn nose, while our country falls behind in science and technology, we run a deficit, and our children get crappy education.

Longnshort caught lying once more! Why do you exaggerate the welfare to 40 million Egyptians and at the same time try to diminish the obscene welfare to to 4+ million Jews in Israel? The total welfare to Israel in 2002 was $4 billion direct aid, $3 billion energy allotment and $10 billion in guaranteed loans, which are never repaid and always later forgiven by Congress. In 2002 alone, Israel received over $17 billion in documented welfare for only 4+ million Jews living in Israel. This comes to $20,000+ for each Jewish family of four living in Israel. The Egyptian welfare comes to something like $40 per Egyptian annually or $200 annually for each Egyptian family of five. This is something like 1000 times more welfare is given to Jews in Israel than to the Egyptians (10 million Coptic Christians and 30 million Moslems.)
