What was the chalabi line on wmds that got miller into trouble? Is it that he was prone to making things up to get his way? Mike

Anybody whose arms are not broken can google "Judith Miller" and WMD.

This may be fallacious reasoning, but I believe I detect a correlation between annoying people and people who don't know how to Google. ;^)

Things I didn't know about Judy Miller -

~ She wrote a book with Laurie Mylroie (!) . . . .

~ She sat in on the debriefing of Saddam's son-in-law . . . .

~ She was the first to break the aluminum tube story . . . .

~ She pissed off Patrick Fitzgerald (Special Counsel) in 2001 by tipping off some Islamic organizations that he was investigating, based on info leaked from the White House.

Actually it makes more sense that her source was Scooter Libby, not Rove, because the aluminum tube story was Cheney's baby, as was the Niger-yellowcake story. Or at least they emanated from the Vice President's office, not necessarily Cheney personally.

According to Jude Wanniski, Laurie Mylroie lists among her acknowledgements to her book, Clare Wolfowitz, John Bolton, and Scooter Libby.
