I am disappointed that you have such low opinion of me. I have made it a lifetime career to accept the reality for what it is and to never argue with the truth. If my position is not supported by reality I change the position.

Now on to the male-female ratio:

If you have links that indicate the natural birth rate of males has increased in Asia, bring it forth and I'll look at it. I find such statement very unusual.

On the other hand, the article you posted as has this to say:

From a relatively normal ratio of 108.5 boys to 100 girls in the early 80s, the male surplus progressively rose to 111 in 1990, 116 in 2000, and is now is close to 120 boys for each 100 girls at the present time, according to a Chinese think-tank report.

In other words, my memory seems to have been correct and the natural male/female ratio at birth is around 9% (regardless of what it may have been in US in 1936 or historically in any single country).

But the cause of such increase is NOT, according to the article, some natural shift in the Asia's homosepiens, but rather abortion as a result of China's one-child policy.

You seem to think this means some kind of a war path. However I find it very unlikely that Chinese parents will commit their one and only offspring to war. More likely they will do their best to send them to US and Europe. This dispersion will reduce much of the adverse effects of the imbalance you are concerned with. In any event government policy that gave rise to this imbalance can easily be corrected with the government policy of one-boy-one-girl in China.

Now why do you find this unacceptable?
