She's a plain old country doctor and realized right away that I needed help. Perhaps I could have worked my way out of my funk through time, herbs, meditation and exercise.....probably could have, but considering what I went through....including my wicked step monster throwing away memorabilia, pictures, letters and important family items (which she gave to Goodwill) that my father specifically left to me, AND telling my sister and I that we weren't in his will three days after he died, then being asked to sign a letter of Probate six months later (HUH), I think my doctor appropriately prescribed a quick fix.
