"What London saw last week was only a taste of what Israel has been dealing with, and according to the Financial Times today, Israel warned the British of an attack pinpointing the day, and still the Brits were hit.

Not the same war you say?"

It is true that to most of the world the U.S. and Israel are now joined at the hip; we are indeed fighting the same war.

I am perfectly willing to acknowledge that reality, but I don't have to be happy about it. I am in fact very angry about the situation, though there's absolutely nothing I can do about it.

Hopefully the people in our military will someday wise up and refuse to go on with the charade. Imo the best resolution is for teens to refuse to enlist in the armed forces.

I don't think the situation would be any different if a democrat had been president on 9/11. The problem goes way beyond partisan politics.
