Rove, McClellan and Bush all caught in a big lie today. By GOP standards this means they ought to lose their jobs. Remember what the rightwingers said about Clinton when he lied about cheating on his wife? This is a much more important lie involving the outing of a CIA agent, which is TREASON.

Who said she was covert...? If she wasn’t covert, there would be no investigation and we wouldn’t be having this discussion. If you believe Newsweak...not Rove....Novak didn't.... Again, I don't know whether Rove knowingly revealed a covert operative's identity. That’s up to the judicial system. Whether Novak knew she was covert … well I’d bet you Bob did but I don't know that either. But neither of your points addresses what I wrote …that the intelligence gathering efforts of the USA have been harmed. Even if we assume that “Senior Administration Officials” didn’t know she was covert, they still were cavalier with the information they did know and that - at minimum - was in my opinion negligent. eom eod ww
