He is qualified and he will be an inflation/deficit hawk. He will surprise people.

Also too supportive of the efficient market hypothesis in the financial markets (but you can't expect much different).

My parents live next door to a woman who is an Associate Professor of Finance at a public university in the midwest that has never purchased a stock or an option in her life and relies on widely diversified investments in mutual funds for her retirement.

It's mind boggling, IMHO.
