I've got three orange cats, and I call them orange. When I took them to the vet for their first check-up, the vet called them "orange, orange and orange."

I've always called the orange tabbies.

Not an east coast thing. I call them orange, too. And grey rather than blue. As do most people. Just sharing the terms of art used by the cognoscente in response to the red herring about computer color codes.
