I wish. Point and click. Met him once, tho.
What most of you won't be able to relate to is the size of their place. Shoot, they can't even do that, and Syracuse admitted to having gotten lost several times. He said that when they were first checking out the property, walking around with a topo map, they kept on asking each other if "they were there yet" :>)
Their 270 is just under half a section. A section is 640 acres, 1 mile square. Big. We walked for miles this afternoon. Cruz took me out to the meadow overlooking the blueberries, the photo of which may exist only in my head, and pointed out the corner stake. "The property line runs along the power lines for about 3/4 mile".

America. Ya gotta love it. 100+ years ago: my maternal grandma was growing up in a flat on the lower east side; my maternal grandfather came in 1900, 18 years old, not much in his pocket, the last of the family to come over.
Dad's folks came in '14, lived in a flat in SF. Mom and Dad had 1.25 acres. I have 40. The guys are at 310 and counting.
What a country.
