Karen,

Guess I missed the notification of your Mom passing and I offer my deepest sympathies to you and your family.

Losing one's Mother is just below losing a child and I miss my Mom every day. She was such an influence on my life and children and now when we get together she is always a topic to relive many of our memories and fun we had with her. She lived to be 95 almost 96 and was sharp as a tack until she passed. We laugh and treasure those times together.

May God help you through this time of loss and as you say she can organize Heaven when she gets there. Must have been quite a lady to be around.

Losing one's mother is one of the hardest of all deaths to bear, but just as with this funny story, she will always be there to share it with you...

OH! Karen.......this just made me laugh while I visualized your "Murphy" moments. I know it's not funny when the cleaning has to be done, but hopefully you will be able to laugh too when you look back months and years from now.

Evidentially you got the glue pretty well cleaned up or you wouldn't have been able to type your funny post.-ggg- And I imagine Ceasar was SUCH help.....that he sensed you needed him, and grandma would approve. LOL

It's reassuring to know that your Mom had such talents......now I know where you got yours......and will organize Heaven for the rest of us.

;) M

I share your sorrow at the passing of your MOM. I lost my DAD in 1961 to WWII injury complications and my MOM passed in 1996 of cancers. Being an only child, the hardest thing for me is every day having a growing brood looking to me for the instant wise answer to their major problem of the moment that MOM solved for me. Three children, three grandchildren (soon to be five or six) and two great-grandchildren (soon to be four or five). I know I am in way over my head. Sure wish I had a sibling or two to share the responsibility.

Best wishes for your memories of the best of times with your MOM.
