I'm not in touch with Kerry's people, not since he beat Dean in Iowa. Then everything got so big so fast they had no time to talk to "little people" like me. But I value the experience I had before that, including talking one on one with John 3 times. I looked into the guy's eyes and I saw a very honest, down to earth man. I saw a man destined to be president. Nothing I have seen since has changed my mind. You can't blame Kerry for the smearvets campaign. Rove smear campaigns are almost impossible to defend against. That's why they use them. Anything to win. Even spitting on war heros and opening up Vietnam wounds. McCain got similar treatment, which is why Bush was nominated in the first place. Shameful and immoral, but in Texas they know their dirty politics. Will be great to see Rove being frog-marched in handcuffs. Boy does he deserve it.
