"No one on earth can eliminate random acts of violence by small groups of crazed fanatics." If all countries get on board it can be reduced to a few "random acts of violence" as you state. It is more than that now, and there are tons of people (like eumendis even) that support the terrorists and feel that it is ok for them to make their points by slaughtering thousands of civilians. If you think 9-11 was a "random acts of violence", or that it is the largest thing the terrorists would ever want to do, I would say you are naive, and a bit insensitive to the thousands of lives directly effected by this attrocity. I personally do not live in fear and do use common sense. But I also have a strong sense of justice and think the best thing possible is to take it to these guys HARD. Which is what Bush is doing. We will turn it into what you describe, and when we do, I will call it a win. We could do it much faster with more support though. Unfortunately there are thousands in America, and millions in the world who will fight Bush (which helps the terrorists) all day long. Unfortunately it looks like you are one of them ("and placing your faith in the Shrub Demon will only lead you to hell.")
